Living the Dream

I have wanted to play football ever since I was 2 years old. I didn't get to play it last year because my collar bone had been broken. The doctor cleared me for this season and I have loved every minute that I have been able to play.

Birthday Time-

Ashton turned 10 this year. What a fun day we were able to have for him.

Ashton had a fun time with the gifts that he received. He love art and so we gave him a color studio (paints, pencils, oil pastels, etc.) He loved being able to create pictures.
Our little bunch helping Ashton blow out his candles....
Ashton and his Oma were sitting by the fire, roasting hot dogs and keeping warm.

There's Papa grilling up some tender and juicy steaks. They were perfect!

We had a barbecue in his Oma's back yard and made a fire in the fire pit to keep warm.
The weather had been so nice and warm. The sun had been shining and we thought it would be the perfect day to have a party. Mother Nature had a different idea and dumped about 6 inches of snow the day before. We made the best of it and had a fun day anyway.

Asthon loves roasting hot dogs. He doesn't love the smoke in his face though!

It is funny to me that as he is getting older he is starting to get all weird about showing public affection. I know he loves his mommy though. ♥COME ON ASHTON, GIVE ME A KISS♥

On Saturday, we went ice skating and had a lot of fun.
It was hard for Ashton to find his stride at first and he got a bit upset. I let him know that he wasn't there to be perfect, he was there to have fun and learn how to be better. After he found his confidence, he was zipping around the ice rink and was having a very fun time.

Ashton is an awesome skater!

Wow, I have some incredible kids! Smiles can say so much without ever using words.
I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Happy Birthday Ashton. You are such and amazing young man. I am happy to be your mom and glad to be your friend.

Sledding at Christmas- My Version

If you read Brendon's blog you will see that I have a different take on our sledding experience. I thought it was awesome! While our van was stuck in the snow I got to play in the van with the heater blasting, a dvd playing, my GI Joes guys and snacks. We eventually got to play in the snow so it was a great day.

We ganged up on the parents and threw snow balls at them
In the picture above, you can see the snowballs flying in the air.

We tryed really hard to get Mom and Dad.
Our long hike up the hill.

This is our "pet" Link

He gets angry when you play with him to much. He is a lazy kitty. He gets angry just for hanging around him.So don't make him angry! Here is his photo.
His left eye is damaged from a fight that he was involved in.
We started taking care of him when my mom showed mercy on him because he had a huge gash in his forhead and a bite mark on his cheekbone. POOR KITTY!!! He thinks this is his new home... (I think so too.) Mom still says he is not our cat. HAHAHA
